Digger Keywords™: Semantic SEO Tool Tour

Creating keyword recommendations

Digger Keywords makes it easy to get keyword recommendations for your Web pages. Creating a keyword recommendation report takes just three steps: Identify your Web page, specify the search phrase to optimize, and select word meanings. The system does all the research work for you.

Step 1: Identify your Web page

The first step is to identify the Web page that you want to optimize. Enter the page's URL and select one or more topics that fit what your page is about.

In this example, we're going to optimize a page about baby gates on Hubpages.com. So, we start out by entering the page's URL and then select some topics. Since our page is about buying and using protective gates to keep children in a protected space, we can choose Home & Garden and Kids & Family under Shopping. In addition, Home Improvement under Home and Medical & Dental under Health are also good ones to try out. Recommendation reports can be edited and re-run so that you can try out different topics and combinations

Step 2: Specify the search phrase

Next, enter the search phrase that you want to optimize. For this page, we want to improve our ranking for "best baby gates" so that people searching for information and advice about baby gates will find and visit our Web site. After entering the phrase, click the Analyze Search Phrase button to move on to the next step.

Step 3: Select word meanings

In the third and final step, you review the meanings of the words in the search phrase and select the appropriate ones. In the case of our baby gates, the correct meanings were automatically chosen. Even the phrase "baby gates" was detected as having a specific meaning, rather than the separate words "baby" and "gates". If different meanings from the ones chosen by the system are desired, simply click the drop down list next to each word to choose the desired definition.

Since everything looks good here, we just click the Generate Keywords button to create the keyword recommendation report.

Now, let's take a look at the keyword results.
